What We Do
As pressures on the global natural environment mount, individuals, businesses and governments are becoming increasingly aware of the need for new models and systems that allow sustainable development and prosperity while maintaining ecosystems and natural resources for generations to come. Our needs can be met, but only if we embrace and employ measures to increase energy efficiency, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and become effective stewards of our natural resources.
As a resource center connecting students, businesses, and the community at large, CSP will integrate education, technology, and economy through training programs and student-based service learning projects. The Center will also explore and demonstrate local, hands-on solutions in areas such as energy efficiency and auditing, renewable energy, green building design and construction, permitting, land use, and agriculture.
